“Dead Drop.” — a technique used by spies to exchange secret information with someone. Leaving a mark on a mailbox is a well-known method (in the movies) for signaling that a message has been dropped.
“Ninja.” — a cute little warrior-assassin that stays hidden when delivering death and, ostensibly, secret messages.
This platform allows you to post confidential information that is encrypted before it reaches the server, meaning, your content is indecipherable even to the site owners. What kind of information might you want to post?
- Login information you have on one computer that you need to access on another computer, but the computer is not on the same network, does not yet receive email, etc.
- Disposable text that you need to save somewhere for a short time, access, and then delete or have it disappear on its own.
- Small files (pdf, images, etc) that you need to share with yourself or others but you would prefer not to send by email or post to social media, etc.
- Whatever else your imagination might suggest.
This service is free.
However, since it would obviously begin to take up a lot of server storage space without compensation to pay for it, there must be limits. Yet, there will be scenarios where one might wish to be able to post larger messages or upload larger files. For that reason, we A., will accept donations and B., offer subscription plans.
SUB PLAN 1
Our first subscription plan is $5 and grants the user the right to post messages up to 12500 characters in length and attachments up to 1MB in size for a 30 day period. Any message posted in that period auto-deletes after 2 years and attachments become stale after 1 year. Note: for a message to actually last that long, you have to use your private key to manage the message and manually refresh the expiration time. (A message with an X expiration time can be refreshed up to the 2 years).
Here is how you get the plan:
How do you use it?
Post your key into the box at the top of the message page:

As the warning indicates, if you lose your key… you will have to post like the rest of the common folk–as a guest. Unless, of course, you obtain another key.
Terms of Service
You promise not to post illegal or morally obnoxious material to our site. Not that we would ever know, but still. That wouldn’t be nice, and if we somehow discovered this (I don’t know how we would, but if we did), we reserve the right to remove any post, any attachment, for any reason. Moreover, we reserve the right to hand over any data we might have to lawful entities if they request it lawfully.
We do not collect data. We do not match IPs to messages. We do not collect device information.
We do, however, collect whatever information is typically conveyed through web traffic. So, our analytics software will certainly be aware of the IPs of our users, and so on. This is a website for briefly storing snippets and scraps–it isn’t Signal for Pete’s sake.
We will not be liable for anyone that posts extremely important content in a message and then either forgets to refresh the expiration date, or loses their posting key, or so on.
ALL THE CONTENT IN OUR DATABASE IS ENCRYPTED SO IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR US TO RECOVER IT!
We reserve the right to change these terms of service and utterly delete the site if we so choose. We therefore strongly suggest not relying on this service for anything ‘mission critical.’ You have been warned.
